On February 17, 2022, our Whole Life family gathered with various members of the community to celebrate our 20th Anniversary at The Avalon at Buhl Park. Established in September of 2001, our company has grown from serving one person with a disability, to serving more than 100 people. State Representative Mark Longietti, as well as Diane Helbig, a representative for Senator Michele Brooks, presented our CEO with certificates commemorating this huge milestone for us. They also spoke about the impact WLS has made in Mercer County through our various collaborations with local businesses.
Through the years we have forged relationships with many people in the community who have shown support for our mission. On Thursday we had the opportunity to thank a few of them and present them with awards recognizing them as Inclusion Champions. We also recognized several of our individuals who are employed throughout Mercer County for their accomplishments, and we honored our senior staff who have been with us 10 years or more. A fun time was had by all as they enjoyed delicious food provided by the Avalon, and cut a rug to the tunes performed by the John Reese Project. We would like to offer a huge thank you to every single person who has supported us over the years! Most importantly, we would like to thank everyone who we have served, and their families, for trusting us to provide you with quality supports. Without you there is no Whole Life Services!
